A Place for You Adult Day Care & Rehabilitation Center is a family owned and operated program that offers medical, nutritional, social, and transportation services to adults in need of supervised care during the day. Our program is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals of all ages who require assistance and care.
Together as a TEAM of advocates we have established a unique community based program for adults who need assistance and supervised care in a safe environment during the day. Too often, adult day care services are misunderstood as being just for older people. While the people who attend some centers are often older adults, disability is not limited to older adults.
A Place for You Adult Day Care and Rehabilitation Center provides medical, nutritional, social, and transportation services to adults who need supervised care in a safe environment during the day. The program makes available cost effective care, while supporting individual autonomy. At A Place for You Adult Day Care and Rehabilitation Center we strive to delay or prevent re-hospitalization, and institutionalization by providing alternative care.
The therapeutic programs we provide are designed to increase function and independence through the use of purposeful and meaningful activities. Our therapeutic programs promote cognitive stimulation, physical activity, social interaction, enhanced self-esteem, purpose, and creative expression through arts and crafts. Comprehensiveness and attention to detail complete the center's holistic approach in all of our programs.

Yoni Gonzalez
Founder
With over 20 years of experience in Healthcare and half of those focusing on Adult Day Health Services, Mr. Gonzalez has played a vital role in policy-making, advocacy, access to ADH Services at a local and national level. As part of the Board of Directors for the National Adult Day Association (NADSA) and the Florida Adult Day Association (FADSA) Mr. Gonzalez has worked tirelessly with national and local leaders to shed light on the importance of ADH Services while directly working with the Department of Elder Affairs (DOEA), Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), and Governor's Office to create guidelines, resources, and as act liaison between ADH Centers and Governmental agencies. Mr.Gonzalez holds a degree in Healthcare Services Administration with a minor in Information Technology and is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner providing Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders training to students and staff.

Mrs.Rave is a dedicated and seasoned professional with over 8 years of invaluable experience in the adult day care industry. With half of her career spent in a leadership role as a Facility Administrator, Mari has consistently demonstrated her commitment to enhancing the quality of life for elderly individuals and their families through compassionate care and effective management. Additionally, Mari has actively contributed to the community as a member of the Alzheimer's Association Walk Committee for the last 6 years.
As the Facility Administrator at A Place for You, Mrs. Rave has spearheaded numerous initiatives and played a pivotal role in elevating the quality of care provided to our elderly clients.
